Cadillac to Reveal Three New EVs in 2022

Cadillac will reveal three new EVs this year that will go into production in 2024.

The new EVs will be global vehicles built in multiple locations with different rollout times for various regions.

Three New EVs

Cadillac's future lineup is expected to ultimately include the Lyriq, Celestiq, and future Optiq and Symboliq, another sedan/coupe, and an electric version of the Escalade full-size SUV.

Global Production

Cadillac will have an all-electric portfolio by 2030 and will be the lead GM brand when it comes to EVs.

Unveiling Dates

All future Cadillac EVs will use GM's Ultium battery management system.

Comparable Crossovers

The future EVs will have enhanced Super Cruise known as Ultra Cruise that debuts on the Celestiq.

All-Electric Portfolio

Interest is strong in the bespoke Cadillac Celestiq vehicle that will start at more than $300,000 and can easily add $100,000 to customize.

Ultra Cruise

Cadillac has not started taking orders for the Celestiq yet, but production of the first customized and hand-built limo-like car will start in December.

Interest in Celestiq

Cadillac opened the order books for its first EV, the 2023 Lyriq SUV, last May for deliveries to start in the fall of 2022.

Lyriq Production

Cadillac sold 354,000 vehicles globally in 2022 and had its best-ever year in Canada and one of its best in the U.S.
