The 2023 Chicago Auto Show has introduced the latest versions of the Jeep Wrangler. The 20th Anniversary Editions of the 2023 Jeep Wrangler 4xe plug-in hybrid and the Jeep Wrangler 392 performance SUVs are said to be the “most capable” Jeep Wranglers yet. These special edition modifications bring a host of new features, making them the ultimate off-road vehicles.

Jeep Wrangler 4xe and Jeep Wrangler 392: The Ultimate Off-Road Vehicles

The 2023 Jeep Wrangler 4xe and the Jeep Wrangler 392 have been designed with the ultimate off-road experience in mind. With 14.2 inches of ground clearance, 37.1 inches of water fording depth, a 50-degree approach angle, 33-degree breakover angle, and a 43-degree departure angle, these vehicles are perfect for the most challenging terrain.

The Rubicon 392, with its onboard air compressor, has a water fording depth of 34.5 inches, 11.6 inches of ground clearance, and the Xtreme Recon Package. This package includes 17-by-8-inch beadlock-capable wheels wrapped in 35-inch BFGoodrich all-terrain tires, Mopar hinge-gate reinforcement, Mopar jack spacer, Mopar tire relocation kit, and wheel flare extensions.

Under the hood, the 392 is still the fastest and most powerful Wrangler you can buy. Its V-8 engine delivers 470 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque, giving it a 0-60 mph time of 4.5 seconds and a quarter-mile time of 13 seconds. Jeep is expecting both the 4xe and the 392 to go into production in the next quarter.

Rubicon 20th Anniversary Level II Upfit

For those who want the ultimate off-road experience, the Rubicon 20th Anniversary Level II upfit by American Expedition Vehicles is available. This package is limited to 150 units and will be available on a first come, first serve basis. It includes 37-inch tires, a Warn VR EVO 10-S winch, AEV 17-inch wheels, AEV 2.5-inch suspension with Bilstein 5100 shocks, off-road lights, EX front bumper and rear bumper, a front skid plate, a tire carrier, steering damper, and Mopar performance wipers. The Level II upfit adds $22,987 to the 20th Anniversary Rubicon 4xe and $21,130 for the 20th Anniversary Rubicon 392.
